Dr. Meagan Miller
Dr. Meagan Miller is a board-eligible oral and maxillofacial surgeon originally from Dallas, Texas. She moved to sunny Southern California for college and graduated from La Sierra University in Riverside with a bachelor’s degree in Biology in 2011. While in college, Dr. Miller played competitively on the NCAA division III volleyball team as a defensive specialist. She has always loved working with her hands and saw the dental field as a good balance between creative dexterity and healthcare. She matriculated after college into the Loma Linda University Dental School (LLUSD) and graduated with her Doctorate in Dental Surgery in 2015. In dental school, she naturally gravitated towards oral and maxillofacial surgery (OMS) and became increasingly interested towards finding innovative solutions to reconstructive problems. She applied and was accepted to the Boyne and Geistlich research fellowship in regenerative medicine, which focused on soft and hard tissue regrowth in 2016. During her fellowship, Dr. Miller published several articles in peer-reviewed journals including the Journal of OMS and the Clinics of North America. She pursued OMS residency at LLUSD as she saw her developing hand skills align with the field’s vision of restoring function and esthetics while providing whole person care. She recently graduated from the LLUSD OMS program in June 2022. Dr. Meagan Miller is currently a part time Assistant Professor at the LLUSD OMS department and holds privileges at Riverside University Health Systems a Level 1 Trauma Center. She is passionate about helping her patients understand their ailments in order to provide quality, evidence-based options and treatments.
When not working Dr. Meagan loves to cook, wheel throw ceramics, and take long walks with her husband Daniel, newborn daughter Valerie, and five-year-old French bulldog, Bijou.
